ELEFAS
Autonomous protected transport vehicle · 6×6
Carries the squad to the dismount point without exposing a driver or a permanent crew and, after dismounting, stays in the area to provide protection, relay and fire support to the infantry.
Overview
ELEFAS is the Land Systems family's autonomous protected transport vehicle. It shares with HIPPOS the same control architecture, electrical interfaces and 400 V HV bus — not necessarily the same range extender —, along with e-axle traction, suspension, vehicle electronics, perception and mission software, on a larger-volume superstructure optimized to carry personnel, stretchers, ammunition or mission modules.
While moving, ELEFAS carries infantry under ballistic and mine protection. Because it retains no driver or permanent crew on board after the dismount, it can stay in the contact zone as a protection, communications, evacuation or resupply node, under the supported unit's control.

ELEFAS shares with HIPPOS the Miriad Land Systems heavy 6×6 platform: the same traction e-axles, the 400 V HV bus, the control interfaces, the suspension, the vehicle electronics, the perception and the mission software — each with a range extender sized to its own mass and power demand. On that common base, each uses a different superstructure suited to its mission — combat for HIPPOS, protected transport for ELEFAS.
