Capabilities

Multiple capabilities, one architecture.

MIRIAD is oriented towards land and amphibious missions; its air and naval capabilities operate as organic effectors and sensors of the land and amphibious formation.

But how is a land or amphibious operation carried out when unmanned platforms take on the most exposed tasks?

The capabilities are built on the Miriad Land Systems family (full continuity from 1.5 to 22 tonnes), the critical subsystems from Miriad Engineering, the sovereign components from Miriad Electronics and the command and control layer that orchestrates them. Each mission page explains which systems and technologies take part and how they relate along the sense-decide-act flow.

Together they make up a single capability: autonomous land and amphibious combat, designed, manufactured and sustained in Spain.

  • Multi-Domain Command and Maneuver

Coordinating sensors, platforms, fires, EW and logistics into a single tactical picture, accelerating the deployed unit's decision.

  • Advanced Reconnaissance

Persistent eyes at the leading edge, with the tactical picture reaching command in real time.

    See more Advanced Reconnaissance

  • Air surveillance and counter-drone

A mobile dome over the force and over critical infrastructure: early detection, decision in seconds, and layered neutralization.

  • Amphibious Assault

The first wave reaching shore from the amphibious assault ships, unmanned, with autonomous maritime and aerial support.

    See more Amphibious Assault

  • Fire Support

Direct fire and maneuver protection alongside manned and robotic formations: the effector occupies the exposed position, engages close-range air and ground threats, and crews stay under cover.

    See more Fire Support

  • Protected Sustainment

Resupply, casualty evacuation and equipment recovery over the last tactical stretch, with the vehicle available and crews out of contested ground.

    See more Protected Sustainment

  • Deep Strike

Volume, speed and autonomy: the economics of effect.

    See more Deep Strike

  • Robotic Assault

Recovering offensive maneuver when the contact zone is transparent and lethal: breaching, penetrating, fixing and consolidating corridors with robotic force, reducing human exposure.

    See more Robotic Assault

  • Area Security

Sensors, UGVs, UAS and C-UAS deployed as a persistent network to watch perimeters, routes and critical nodes with a lighter personnel footprint.

    See more Area Security

  • Littoral Surveillance and Defense

Persistent surveillance and defense of coastline, beaches, ports and maritime access points through fixed, mobile and unmanned sensors, integrating surface, low-altitude and land-perimeter pictures into a single tactical picture with response capability.
