ASALTO ANFIBIO
Amphibious assault
The first wave reaching shore from the amphibious assault ships, unmanned, with autonomous maritime and aerial support.
01.Operational problem
The littoral is today the most heavily defended environment on the battlefield. Coastal sensors, mines, beach obstacles and precision fire turn the first wave of any landing operation into the moment of maximum exposure in the entire campaign: the vehicles that touch the beach first are, statistically, the hardest hit. Modern amphibious doctrine demands projecting capability from ship to shore without concentrating personnel precisely in those vehicles.
SEA RHINOS moves the first wave onto unmanned platforms: heavy-class amphibious vehicles that reconnoiter the beach, breach obstacles, engage defensive positions and establish the ship-to-shore logistics corridor before the landing force sets foot on land. Amphibious capability stops being the operation's human bottleneck.
02.Systems, components, technology and intelligence involved:
-
SEA RHINOS ASSAULT
Heavy class amphibious platform (2.50 × 5.50 × 1.70 m · 7–10 T), the primary assault variant with breaching capability.
-
TRITON
Navalised RECON architecture: observation, designation and counter-drone defence from surface platforms, in support of the amphibious operation.
-
C2
Ship-to-shore link and articulation of the unmanned wave with amphibious command.
-
SAIS 360°
Perimeter perception in a degraded littoral environment.
03.Operational architecture
-
DETECT
Beach reconnaissance
Reconnaissance of obstacles and defensive positions with onboard 360° perception, transmitted in real time to the embarked force.
-
Decide
Integrated amphibious command
Native integration with naval command and the landing force over the C2 link; the unmanned wave is coordinated as a single formation.
-
Act
Breach and logistics corridor
Breaching with a front-blade configuration, support for the advance across the beach, and a ship-to-shore logistics shuttle during consolidation.

-
SEA RHINOS
Reconnaissance of the beach, obstacles and positions. FALCON T · air layer: observation of the beach before and during the wave, for the embarked force. TRITON · naval layer: observation, designation and counter-drone protection of the wave from the maritime domain.
- SAIS 360°
-
AMPHIBIOUS COMMAND
Ship-to-shore link; the unmanned wave as a single formation.
- Consola C2
-
SEA RHINOS ASSAULT
Breaching, support on the beach and shore-to-ship logistics shuttle.
C2 · Command and control Mission intelligence on board every platform · common console at the command post · the entire mission flow travels over a single command and control layer
Intelligence04.Program status
Program in development
Within the Miriad Land Systems family, on an architecture common with the heavy land class.
Shares its hull and architecture with RHINOS. Prior reconnaissance of the landing zone links to Advanced Reconnaissance; protection of the beach's air space, to Air Surveillance and Counter-Drone.
