Overview
MFI LAMB is the mobile armored launch base of the AIR DEFENCE & C-UAS architecture: a protected container that stores, prepares and launches STRIKE2 interceptors against medium-altitude ISR drones and transiting Shahed-type threats, before they reach the defended area. It stays autonomous and ready to fire until the launch order.
MFI LAMB and STRIKE2 form the outer layer of AIR DEFENCE & C-UAS, not the primary defense against a drone attack close to the position — that role belongs to HORN30. Each STRIKE2 interceptor launched from MFI LAMB integrates the TARGOS seeker for optical terminal guidance and the MEUN-100i autopilot for navigation and midcourse guidance; MFI LAMB supplies the protected storage, preparation and field launch of the effector.
