ATAQUE PROFUNDO

Deep saturation · Saturation in tactical depth

Volume, speed and autonomy: the economics of effect.

01.Operational problem

Modern C-UAS and VSHORAD defenses systematically neutralize the slow drones, FPVs and propeller munitions that dominated the first phase of unmanned warfare. The logic of saturation — volume, contained cost, wave employment — remains intact; what has become obsolete is the vector. Keeping the cost argument alive against today's defensive layer requires shifting saturation to jet-powered vectors: a wave forces the adversary to expend interceptors that cost an order of magnitude more than each vector they shoot down.

STRIKE2 is the Spanish answer to that transition: a jet-powered, Class I saturation drone, autonomous and built on national intellectual property. Its lethal (E) and active-decoy (D) variants operate at equivalent speed; the D variant adds adaptive electromagnetic signatures that stop the defender from telling the two apart, forcing them to expend fire channels against both. It is built for series production and for sustaining waves through prolonged campaigns.

02.Systems, components, technology and intelligence involved:

  • STRIKE2

Jet-powered saturation drone about 2 m long, under 25 kg, with a 4 kg modular warhead, in lethal (E) and active decoy (D) variants.

  • MEUN-100

Flight and mission computer by Miriad Electronics; sovereign onboard autonomy, also available to third-party integrators.

  • C2

Integration of the effector with ISR sensors, command nodes and the architecture's own C-UAS layers.

03.Operational architecture

  1. DETECT

    Intelligence in depth

Target intelligence from Advanced Reconnaissance and the force's own assets; designation before launch.

  2. Decide

    Sovereign onboard autonomy

Guidance, navigation and control on the MEUN-100 sovereign autopilot, resistant to electronic warfare and degraded GNSS environments.

  3. Act

    Coordinated salvo

Salvo employment from vehicle-mounted launchers: 350–400 km/h cruise, terminal dive speed up to 600 km/h, 150 km range and a 2,000 m operational ceiling.

Program in development

In integration and progressive validation, unveiled publicly in May 2026.

The offensive counterpart of Air Surveillance and Counter-Drone: MIRIAD develops the threat to understand it and designs the defense to neutralize it. It receives intelligence from Advanced Reconnaissance.
