MER

Tactical RF counter-drone rifles · Dismounted C-UAS

Miriad Electronics' portable C-UAS layer: handheld RF effectors to detect, identify and jam drones — and, in the advanced version, intercept them — at the dismounted echelon, in facilities and in force protection.

Overview

The MER family brings C-UAS capability to the dismounted echelon and to facility protection through portable, autonomous, rapidly available RF effectors. MER can detect, identify, jam and, in advanced versions, exploit signals from commercial drones, FPVs and light tactical UAS, providing a distributed counter-drone defense layer for deployed units, bases, convoys, checkpoints, security forces and critical infrastructure.

Capabilities

  • RF detection
  • Automatic identification
  • Multi-band jamming
  • FPV interception (MER2)
  • Handheld portable
  • Rapid availability
  • OTA database
  • TAK / C2 integration (MER2)

Two variants · one family

  • Standard

    MER1 Drone Defense

A standard tactical RF counter-drone rifle for dismounted protection, facility security and light units. It detects across the RF spectrum, automatically identifies model and band, and jams communications, video and GNSS navigation through multi-band directional jamming. The first portable, rapidly available C-UAS layer.

  • Advanced

    MER2 Drone Hunter

An advanced version for military units, force protection and deployed operations. It doesn't just jam: with an SDR architecture it detects and analyzes, intercepts FPV video, recognizes patterns via AI, shares events, and integrates into tactical C2 networks.

MER1 jams · MER2 hunts

  • MER1 is the first portable layer: it detects, identifies and jams at the dismounted echelon and in facilities.
  • MER2 adds advanced SDR, FPV video interception, AI recognition and integration into TAK / C2 tactical networks.
  • Both keep a single-operator portable form factor; MER2 carries a clearly militarized build (IP67, MIL-STD-810H / 461F).
